M&S Property Management was established in 2023 by Alex Urbano Tafoya — a licensed real estate broker and active property investor with over 20 years of experience in Central Valley real estate. The company was born out of a frustration that most investors know well: finding a property management company that actually earns its fee.
As both a home investor and an investor representative, Alex spent years searching for a management partner who was truly hands-on — someone who understood properties from the inside out, not just from behind a desk. He couldn't find one. So he built one.
From day one, M&S has operated on two principles: integrity and pride in the work. That means fair pricing for real services, honest communication, and a hands-on approach that most management companies simply don't offer. Alex personally visits properties, files photo reports after every visit, and has been known to fix minor issues at no charge to the owner — because that's how he'd want his own properties treated.
